Who will be speaking at your rally?:
SADD advisor, SADD students We have a performance team that does skits and energizers at assemblies.
Who will be attending your rally?:
Students in grades 9-12
What activities do you have planned?:
The week following our rally is set aside for safe driving promotion. There will be signage in the halls, the high school hallway will be divided like a street, there will be traffic safety signs up, SADD students will be handing out hallway “tickets” for students who “speed”, pass other students unsafely, travel down the wrong side of the road or walk distractedly. Seatbelt compliance checks will be conducted in the parking lot and McDonald's certificates will be given to those arriving in seat belts. SADD students will do morning announcements with trivia questions regarding safe driving for students. AAA will be doing vehicle maintenance inspections for high school students and staff on Friday which includes free lunch and giveaways for each student as well as a drawing for several AAA memberships. A safe driving pledge will be offered in the lunch room for driving students.
